- Third-Party Metric Data: Performance metrics fetched via Google PageSpeed Insights API.
- AI & GEO Analysis Output: SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) insights generated by third-party AI LLMs.

2. How We Use Your Data
We process your data strictly to operate, maintain, and improve our SaaS platform:

3. Web Crawling & Third-Party Services
A. Crawling Public Websites
An audit fetches only publicly available pages requested by the user, alongside associated standard resources such as robots.txt and sitemap.xml.
Security Guarantee: SEO Tera never sends user session cookies, sign-in credentials, or personal authentication data to the target website being audited.
B. Third-Party Data Processors
To provide comprehensive analysis, certain audit data is processed by trusted third-party service providers:
- Google PageSpeed Insights API: Submitted URLs are sent to Google to retrieve mobile and desktop performance metrics.
- Third-Party AI Models: Extracted HTML signals, page context, and structured prompt queries are transmitted to third-party AI providers to synthesize GEO and SEO recommendations.
- Infrastructure & Database: Account data and audit logs are securely stored using Supabase. The Supabase service-role key is strictly executed server-side and is never exposed to the client browser.
4. Data Storage, Isolation & Security
- Data Isolation: Audit results and personal reports are tied to individual accounts. Users can access and view only their own audit data.
- Administrative Access: Internal access to user data is strictly restricted to authorized administrators via a secure server-side administrative layer.
- Security Measures: We implement industry-standard encryption protocols for data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and data at rest.
5. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your personal data and audit history only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services.
